Text analysis tools

The websites Tapor and Bamboo Dirt both provide access to an extensive directory of research tools. Using these directories, the following text analysis tools may be found:

Explore some of the functionalities offered by these existing tools. During your analysis, try to answer the two questions below:

  1. Most of the text analysis tools allow their users to caculate the frequencies of the words in the text. Do the tools all produce the same counts? Use the text below to compare the possible differences between the various tools.
